J. Neale deGravelles was raised in Baton Rouge, LA, where he graduated from University High School. As an undergraduate, Neale attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon where he received a B.A. degree in History. Neale earned his Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University Law School and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2004. While at LSU Law School Neale was awarded the Tullis-Hegret Scholarship for academic performance and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif (awarded to those in the top 10% of their law School class). He is also admitted to practice before all United States District Courts in the state of Louisiana.
Neale is married and has three children. His hobbies include reading, music and playing with his sons and dogs.
